Céline Sciamma is a French screenwriter and film director. She went to film school at La Fémis and wrote the script for her first film, "Water Lilies" (2007), as part of her final evaluation. That film went on to screen at Cannes where it received three nominations. Her work is beautiful, thoughtful, and incredibly feminist. She's one of my all-time favorite directors.
